Description: A vulnerability has been reported in Network Appliance Data ONTAP, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to bypass certain security restrictions.
The vulnerability is caused due to certain commands being improperly exposed to users.
The vulnerability has been reported in versions 7.1x and 7.1.0.1x.
Solution: Modify the useradmin role (see original advisory for details).
The vulnerability will be fixed in the upcoming 7.1.1 release.
