Description:
simo64 has discovered two vulnerabilities in Lazarus Guestbook, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.

Input passed to the "show" parameter in lang/codes-english.php and the "img" parameter in pictures.php is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.

Successful exploitation for the "img" parameter requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.

The vulnerabilities have been confirmed in versions 1.5.4 and 1.6 beta 7. Other versions may be also affected.
