Description: A vulnerability has been reported in Sun Solaris, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error in some kernel patches and can be exploited to crash processes or the system.
NOTE: Systems with an FTP service enabled can also be crashed remotely by users of the service.
The vulnerability affects Solaris 10 systems with kernel patches 118822-29 or later for SPARC and 118844-29 or later for x86.
