Beskrivelse:
Thiago Zaninotti har fundet en sårbarhed i Apache HTTP Server, som kan udnyttes af ondsindede personer til at udføre cross-site scriptingangreb.

Input suppleret til "Expect:" headeren filtreres ikke korrekt, før det returneres til brugere. Dette kan udnyttes til at eksekvere vilkårlig HTML og scriptkode i en brugers browser-session associeret med et sårbart site.

Sårbarheden berører versioner tidligere end 1.3.35, 2.0.58 og 2.2.2.

NOTE: Dette problem blev ikke først anset for en sårbarhed af researcheren og producenten, da der ikke var nogle kendte angrebsvektorer. Yderligere research af Amit Klein har dog bevist, at det er muligt at udnytte sårbarheden via en specielt udformet Flash-fil.
