Description: Ulf Harnhammar and Max Vozeler have reported some vulnerabilities in Osiris, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) or compromise a vulnerable system.
The vulnerabilities are caused due to format string errors in the logging functionality and can be exploited via specially crafted strings containing format specifiers.
Successful exploitation crashes the application and may potentially allow code execution.
The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 4.2.0. Prior versions may also be affected.
