Description: h07 has discovered a vulnerability in Easy File Sharing FTP Server, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the processing of the "PASS" command. This can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow by supplying an overly long argument (more than 2571 bytes).
Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 2.0. Other versions may also be affected.
