Description:
Attila Gerendi has discovered a vulnerability in DeluxeBB, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions and disclose potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability is caused due to improper authentication verification in pm.php. This can be exploited to access another user's personal messenger by setting the "membercookie" cookie parameter to the user's username.

The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 1.08. Other versions may also be affected.
