Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in Invision Power Board, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions.

The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error in the threaded view mode. This can be exploited to access posts outside of an topic.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 2.1.7 and prior for the 2.1.x branch (before 2006-08-10).

Solution:
Apply patch for version 2.1.7.
