| CVE reference: | CVE-2006-4158
|
|
Description: Drago84 has discovered a vulnerability in Spaminator, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.
Input passed to the "page" parameter in Login.php isn't properly verified, before it is used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from external and local resources.
The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 1.7. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly verified.
Restrict web access to the PHP scripts (e.g. with a .htaccess file).
Provided and/or discovered by: Drago84
Changelog: 2006-08-18: Added CVE reference.
