Description:
Chris Boulton has discovered a weakness in XennoBB, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose system information.

Input passed to the "category" parameter in profile.php isn't properly sanitised before being used to view available avatars. This can be exploited to list images in arbitrary locations via directory traversal attacks.

The weakness has been confirmed in versions 2.1.0 and 2.2.0. Other versions may also be affected.
