Description: ssteam has reported a vulnerability in the WP-DB Backup plugin for WordPress, which can be exploited by malicious users to disclose sensitive information.
Input passed to the "backup" parameter in edit.php isn't properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to disclose the content of arbitrary files via directory traversal attacks.
Example:
http://[host]/wp-admin/edit.php?page=wp-db-backup.php&backup=../../../../../[file]
Successful exploitation requires administrative privileges.
