Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in Symantec NetBackup PureDisk, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions.

The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error during user authentication in the management interface. This can be exploited to bypass the user authentication and gain elevated privileges on the system.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 6.0 for all platforms.
