Description: Two vulnerabilities have been reported in XennoBB, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks and disclose sensitive information.
1) Input passed to the "icon_topic" parameter in topic_post.php is not properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
2) Input passed to the "filename" parameter in show_image.php isn't properly sanitised before being used to view images. This can be exploited to disclose the content of arbitrary files via directory traversal attacks.
The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 2.2.1. Prior versions may also be affected.
