Description:
Omid has discovered a vulnerability in Mambo, which can be exploited by malicious users to conduct SQL injection attacks.

Input passed to the "id" parameter when editing content isn't properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Successful exploitation requires "Editor" privileges.

Some SQL injection issues have also been reported in the administration section.

Some other security related issues have also been reported by the vendor.

The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 4.5.4 and has also been reported in version 4.6 RC2 and prior.
