Description:
A security issue has been reported in OpenVMS, which may disclose sensitive information to malicious, local users.

An error in the "NET$SESSION_CONTROL" module results in passwords being written to the audit log when a connection attempt with a correct password is made after a "network breakin" event.

The security issue has been reported in OpenVMS ALPHA V7.3-2.
