Description:
Andres Tarasco Acuña has reported a security issue in TIBCO Rendezvous, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to disclose sensitive information.

The problem is caused due to usernames and passwords being stored insecurely in the world-readable file "c:\rvrd.db".

The security issue has been reported in version 7.4.11 for the Microsoft Windows platform. Other versions and platforms may also be affected.

Solution:
Grant only trusted users access to affected systems.
