Description:
SHiKaA has reported a vulnerability in Sponge News, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.

Input passed to the "sndir" parameter in news.php is not properly verified before being used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from local or external resources.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 2.2. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly verified.
