Description:
Avaya has acknowledged a vulnerability in XFree86 included in various Avaya products, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) and potentially compromise a vulnerable system.

The following products are affected:
* Avaya Intuity LX (version 1.x)
* Avaya Messaging Storage Server (versions 1.x - 2.x)
* Avaya Message Networking (versions 1.x - 2.x)

Solution:
The vendor recommends that local and network access to the affected systems should be restricted until an update is available.

Avaya Messaging Storage Server:
Upgrade to MSS 3.0 or later.

Avaya Message Networking:
Upgrade to MN 3.0 or later.
