Description: Some vulnerabilities have been reported in PHP Event Calendar, which can be exploited by certain malicious users to conduct script insertion attacks and malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
1) Input passed to the "ti", "bi", and "cbgi" parameters in cl_files/index.php when adding an event isn't properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to inject arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when the malicious user data is viewed.
Successful exploitation requires privileges to add events.
2) Input passed via the URL to "cl_files/calendar.php" (and potentially other scripts which include and use this file) is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 1.5.1. Other versions may also be affected.
