Description:
Blwood has discovered two vulnerabilities in Nuked-Klan, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting and cross-site request forgery attacks.

1) Input passed to the "query" parameter in index.php isn't properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in an administrator's browser session.

Example:
http://[host]/index.php?file=Admin&page=user&query=[code]

2) An error exists due to the application allowing users to perform certain actions via HTTP GET requests without performing any validity checks to verify the user's request. This can e.g. be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary code via the "query" parameter passed in index.php when an administrator follows a specially crafted link.

Example:
http://[host]/index.php?file=Admin&page=user&query=[code]

Successful exploitation requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.

The vulnerabilities have been confirmed in version 1.7 SP4.3. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised and that the application properly verifies users' requests.
