Description: Revnic Vasile has discovered a vulnerability in Easy Address Book Web Server, which potentially can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a format string error when processing HTTP requests and can be exploited by e.g. requesting a specially crafted resource name or supplying a specially crafted string containing format specifiers in a POST request.
Example:
http://[host]/AAAA%25n
Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.2. Other versions may also be affected.
