Description:
AlpEren and tugr have discovered a security issue in Amazing Little Poll, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose sensitive information.
The problem is caused due to user credentials being stored in the "lp_settings.inc" file inside the web root. This can be exploited to disclose the administrator's password.
The security issue has been confirmed in version 1.3. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution:
Restrict web access to the "lp_settings.inc" file (e.g. with a .htaccess file).
