Description:
rgod has discovered a vulnerability in Exponent CMS, which can be exploited by malicious people to gain knowledge of sensitive information and potentially compromise a vulnerable system.

Input passed to the "view" parameter in index.php is not properly verified before being used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from local resources.

This can further be exploited to include arbitrary PHP code injected into session files.

The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 0.96.3. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly verified.
