Description:
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in SyntaxCMS, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.

Input passed to the "init_path" parameter in admin/testing/tests/0004_init_urls.php and admin/testing/tests/0030_init_syntax.php is not properly verified before being used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from local and external resources.

Successful exploitation requires "register_globals" and "allow_fopen_url" enabled.

The vulnerability has been reported in versions 1.1.1 through 1.3.

Solution:
Apply patch (see the vendor's advisory for details).

The vulnerability has also been fixed in the CVS depository.
