Debian has issued an update for kernel-source-2.6.8. This fixes some vulnerabilities, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain knowledge of potentially sensitive information, bypass certain security restriction, and cause a DoS (Denial of Service), and malicious people to cause a DoS.
