Some vulnerabilities have been reported in ZABBIX, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) or potentially compromise a vulnerable system.
The vulnerabilities are caused due to various format string and buffer overflow errors, which may be exploited to execute arbitrary code by e.g. tricking somebody into connecting to malicious ZABBIX agents.
The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 1.1.2. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Update to version 1.1.3.
