Description:
A security issue has been reported in Sun Solaris, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain access to system information.

The security issue is caused due to a race condition within the Xsession script of the X Display Manager (xdm), which can be exploited to gain access to the xdm error log files of other users.

The security issue has been reported in Sun Solaris 8, 9, and 10 for both the SPARC and x86 platform.
