Description: Richard Brain has reported a vulnerability in FirePass 1000 SSL VPN, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
Input passed to the "sid" parameter in my.acctab.php3 is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
The vulnerability is reported in FirePass 1000 SSL VPN version 5.5. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Reportedly, the vulnerability has been fixed in version 6.0 and will be fixed in version 5.52. Please see the vendor's advisory for details.
