Description: Greg Linares has discovered a vulnerability in RevilloC MailServer, which potentially can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error within the handling of arguments passed to the "RCPT TO:" command. This can be exploited to cause a heap-based buffer overflow by supplying an overly long argument to the vulnerable command (more than 4000 bytes).
Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.21. Other versions may also be affected.
