Description: A vulnerability has been reported in Cisco Security Agent Management Center (CSAMC), which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions.
The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the authentication process when the CSAMC is configured to use an external LDAP server for authentication. This can be exploited by an attacker to gain administrative access to the CSAMC application by providing a valid administrator username and a zero-lenght password.
The vulnerability is reported in version 5.1 prior to Hotfix 5.1.0.79.
