Description:
Evgeny Legerov has discovered a vulnerability in Omni-NFS Server, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.

The vulnerability is cause due to a boundary error in the handling of data sent to the NFS server. This can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow via a specially crafted network packet.

Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 4.2. Other versions may also be affected.
