Description
Joxean Koret has discovered a vulnerability in War FTP Daemon, which can be exploited by malicious users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to improper handling of FTP commands. This can be exploited to crash the service via a specially crafted argument passed to e.g. the CWD command.

The vulnerability is confirmed in versions 1.82.00 RC11 and 1.82.00 RC12. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution
Update to version 1.82 RC13.
