Description:
Joxean Koret has discovered a vulnerability in War FTP Daemon, which can be exploited by malicious users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to improper handling of the CWD command. This can be exploited to crash the service via a specially crafted argument passed to the command.

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.82.00 RC11. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Restrict access to trusted users only.
