Description
Joxean Koret has discovered a vulnerability in War FTP Daemon, which can be exploited by malicious users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service). The vulnerability is caused due to improper handling of FTP commands. This can be exploited to crash the service via a specially crafted argument passed to e.g. the CWD command. The vulnerability is confirmed in versions 1.82.00 RC11 and 1.82.00 RC12. Other versions may also be affected.
