| CVE reference: | CVE-2006-6925
|
|
Description: Laurent Gaffié and Benjamin Mossé have reported some vulnerabilities in bitweaver, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct script insertion attacks.
Input passed to the title when editing wiki or blog entries is not properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
Additionally, invalid input to the "sort_mode" parameter in various files may disclose the full path to the installation or database table names.
The vulnerabilities are reported in version 1.3.1. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
Provided and/or discovered by: Laurent Gaffié and Benjamin Mossé
Changelog: 2007-01-05: Removed vulnerability #1.
2007-01-17: Added CVE reference.
