Description: LMH has reported a vulnerability in Fedora Core, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service)
The vulnerability is caused due to an improper handling of corrupted data structures in the Ext2 file system. This can be exploited to crash the system by mounting and reading a specially crafted file system image.
The vulnerability is reported in version 6. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Do not mount untrusted file systems.
