Alfredo Pesoli has discovered two vulnerabilities in Etomite, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks and by malicious users to expose sensitive information.

1) Input passed to the "id" parameter in index.php is not properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Successful exploitation potentially allows disclosure of user credentials, but requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.

2) Input passed to the "f" parameter in manager/index.php is not properly verified before being used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from local resources.

Successful exploitation requires valid user credentials.

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 0.6.1.2. Prior versions may also be affected.

Update to version 0.6.1.3.
