|
|
Description: ajann has discovered a vulnerability in BPG Easy Publisher and Smart Publisher, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
Input passed to the "vjob" parameter in bpg/publications_list.asp is not properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
The vulnerability is confirmed in Easy Publisher and Smart Publisher Pro version 2.7.7. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
Provided and/or discovered by: ajann
Changelog: 2006-11-28: Added CVE reference.
