Description: Greg Linares has discovered a vulnerability in Conxint FTP Server, which can be exploited by malicious users to enumerate files on an affected system and to disclose potential sensitive information.
The vulnerability is caused due to an input validation error when processing arguments passed to the "DIR" and "GET" commands. This can be exploited to list and download files from arbitrary locations outside of the FTP root via specially crafted directory traversal sequences.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 2.2.0603. Other versions may also be affected.
