Description:
Greg Linares has discovered two vulnerabilities in Selenium Server, which can be exploited by malicious users to enumerate files on an affected system and disclose potentially sensitive information.

1) An input validation error when processing arguments passed to the "DIR", "GET", and "PUT" commands can be exploited to list and download files from arbitrary locations outside of the FTP root via specially crafted directory traversal sequences.

2) User passwords are stored insecurely in plain text in the "Servers" directory.

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.0. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Grant access to trusted users only.
