| CVE reference: | CVE-2006-6028
|
|
Description: Craig Heffner has discovered a vulnerability in DoSePa, which can be exploited by malicious people to expose sensitive information.
Input passed to the "file" parameter in textview.php is not properly sanitised before being used to display files. This can be exploited to gain access to arbitrary files via directory traversal attacks.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.0.4. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
Provided and/or discovered by: Craig Heffner
Changelog: 2006-11-22: Added CVE reference.
