Description:
Tux25 has discovered two vulnerabilities in mAlbum, which can be exploited by malicious people and malicious users to disclose sensitive information.

1) Input passed to the "gal" parameter in index.php is not properly sanitised before being used to generate directory listings. This can be exploited to gain directory information and names of images outside of the configured image directory via directory traversal attacks.

Successful exploitation requires valid user credentials in the default install.

2) Input passed to the "gal" parameter in index.php is not properly sanitised before being used to display files. This can be exploited to display arbitrary files via directory traversal attacks.

Successful exploitation requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" in php.ini is disabled.

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 0.3. Other versions may also be affected.
