Description

Two vulnerabilities have been discovered in PHP Easy Download, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose sensitive information or to compromise a vulnerable system.

1) Input passed to the "description", "moreinfo", "accesses", "date", and "filename" parameters in file_info/admin/save.php is not properly sanitised before being written to a web-accessible file with the name from "filename" plus the string ".0". This can be exploited to execute arbitrary PHP code.

2) Input passed to the "file" parameter in index.php is not properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to download arbitrary files via directory traversal attacks.

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.5. Prior versions may also be affected.

Solution
Upgrade to version 2.5 or later.
