Beschreibung:
Eine Sicherheitslücke wurde in Dovecot gemeldet, die böswillige Benutzer ausnutzen können, um einen DoS (Denial of Service) zu verursachen oder potenziell ein verwundbares System zu kompromittieren.

Die Sicherheitslücke wird durch einen Off-By-One-Fehler während die dovecot.index.cache Datei in den Speicher geladen wird verursacht. Falls die "mmap_disable" Option auf "yes" gesetzt ist, kann dies ausgenutzt werden um, einen Ein-Byte-Pufferüberlauf zu verursachen.

Die Sicherheitslücke wurde in Version 1.0test53 bis einschließlich 1.0.rc14 gemeldet.

Lösung:
Aktualisieren Sie auf Version 1.0rc15.
