Description:
Sun Microsystems has acknowledged a vulnerability in Solaris, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) and potentially compromise a user's system.

The vulnerability affects Solaris 10 on the SPARC platform, and JDS release 2 (for Solaris 9) and Solaris 10 for the x86 platform.
