Description:
Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in iWare Professional, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.

1) Input passed to the "D" parameter in index.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Successful exploitation allows retrieval of user names and password hashes, but requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.

2) Input passed to the "id" and "category" parameters in index.php (when "file" is set to a valid module name) is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 5.0.4. Other versions may also be affected.
