Description: Richard Reed has discovered a security issue in the GNotebooks Plugin for Google Desktop, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to disclose certain sensitive information.
The security issue is caused due to the application storing the username and password in \temp\GNotebook.txt with insecure permissions.
The security issue is confirmed in version 0.7.0.1. Other versions may also be affected.
