Beschreibung:
Einige Sicherheitslücken wurden in xine-lib gemeldet, die böswillige Personen potenziell ausnutzen können, um das System eines Benutzers zu kompromittieren.
1) Eine Sicherheitslücke wird durch einen Begrenzungsfehler in der "real_parse_sdp()" Funktion in src/input/libreal/real.c verursacht. Dies kann ausgenutzt werden, um einen Pufferüberlauf zu verursachen, indem man z.B. einen Benutzer dazu bringt, sich mit einem bösartigen Server zu verbinden.
2) Ein Pufferüberlauf existiert in der libmms-Bibliothek. Für weitere Informationen:

Eine erfolgreiche Ausnutzung könnte die Ausführung von beliebigem Code erlauben.
Die Sicherheitslücken wurden in Versionen vor 1.1.3 gemeldet.
Lösung:
Aktualisieren Sie auf Version 1.1.3.
