|
Description: Urs J Reinhart has reported a vulnerability in AgileBill and AgileVoice, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability exists due to an error in the handling of requests via certain proxies. This causes the application to present the form to enter the license key and license code, which can be exploited to disable the site by submitting invalid license data.
The vulnerability is reported in version 1.4x.
Solution: The vendor recommends to remove or rename "/modules/core/license.inc.php" until an update is available. The vulnerability will reportedly be fixed in the next major release.
Provided and/or discovered by: Urs J Reinhart
Changelog: 2006-12-11: Added CVE reference.
