Description: Some vulnerabilities have been reported in the Help Tip module for Drupal, which can be exploited by malicious users to conduct SQL injection attacks and by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
1) Input passed to unspecified parameters is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation may allow administrator access.
2) Input passed to node titles is not properly sanitised before being used in block titles. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
The vulnerabilities are reported in versions prior to 4.7.x-1.0.
Solution: Update to version 4.7.x-1.0.
