Beschreibung:
Solar Eclipse hat eine Sicherheitslücke in OpenLDAP gemeldet, die böswillige Personen ausnutzen können, um ein verwundbares System zu kompromittieren.
Die Sicherheitslücke wird durch einen Begrenzungsfehler in der "krbv4_ldap_auth()" Funktion in servers/slapd/kerberos.c verursacht und kann ausgenutzt werden, um einen Stack-basierten Pufferüberlauf zu verursachen, indem man eine speziell präparierte Bind-Anfrage mit mehr als 1250 Bytes an Authentifizierungsdaten sendet.
Eine erfolgreiche Ausnutzung könnte die Ausführung von beliebigem Code erlauben, setzt aber voraus, dass OpenLDAP mit der "--enable-kbind" Option (seit Version 2.0.2 nicht standardmäßig aktiviert und seit Version 2.1 aus dem configure-Script entfernt) kompiliert wurde.
Lösung:
Aktualisieren Sie auf Version 2.3.31.
